Gather with friends, family, peers and caregivers to join BIC-NW in a group for Portland Sunday Parkways! Whether you walk, bike, or roll, we’d love for you to meet up with us for this community event and gather together outside.
Presented by Kaiser Permanente, Portland Sunday Parkways is a city sponsored event to get folks out to explore different Neighborhoods via walking or bike riding. The mission is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle by closing down the streets to vehicle traffic and bringing the community together. It is a vibrant celebration of community and fun, and features car-free streets, live music, food, activities and a good time with friends and neighbors in a family-friendly environment.
We encourage safety alongside our fun and require certified helmets for bicycle riders, dogs are welcome but required to be on leash, and we ask that you bring water and wear weather appropriate clothing.
Walking/Rolling and Bike routes range from 1 to 4 miles depending on the route and location.
