Forward Stride

Services Provided: Occupational, Physical and Speech and Language Therapy using the horse in sessions for therapeutic benefit. All ages accepted for therapy, the horse is used in sessions for those aged 2 years old and older. Mental Health Services include an equine in the session and are usually not mounted. All ages accepted for therapy. All therapists are licensed and certified in accordance with the requirements of their therapeutic discipline, and all session assistants are specifically trained and certified when necessary. Riding lessons for people of all abilities taught by PATH International Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, ages 4 and up. Vaulting lessons for people of all abilities ages 4 and up. Volunteer Program offers opportunities for people of all abilities, ages 12 and up, to help care for horses and stay active. Riding, Vaulting, and Volunteer programs are inclusive programs, encouraging participants with and without disabilities to reach their goals alongside one another.
