Brain Injury Connections Northwest will long feel the loss of our friend, peer and guide. Jim was not only an invaluable and critical member of the Leadership team, he was a caring and helpful peer to the brain injured members of our support groups. Jim helped to rescue us financially through his myriad of contacts and friends in Portland who contributed to our fund raising efforts.
Jim will always be remembered for teaching us to stop being bleeding hearts, toughen up and stand by our decisions when we were right. This brilliant, stoic, dignified man was a dear friend to many of us. It was hard to make Jim laugh, but you always knew what he was thinking and his chuckles were genuine.
Goodbye Jim, may your continued journey be as transcendent as was your time with us.
From your friends at BIC-NW
