We’re grateful to share that in 2025, Brain Injury Connections NW reached nearly 400 survivors, friends, family members, and caregivers. Together, those individuals participated in our programs more than 3,000 times throughout the year.

That level of engagement speaks to the strength of this community and the deep need for connection and support. Read more

Portland Sunday Parkways – Southwest Portland

Join us for a ride or a stroll on closed streets in Southwest Portland on Sunday, May 17! We will meet up as a group at 11:45 and end our group time at 2:30.

The Southwest Portland route will feature a 2-mile multi-modal route and a separate 2.6-mile walking route.

Special Event: Clackamas Community College Resource Fair & Adaptive All Stars Exhibition Game

Clackamas Community College will host its third annual Accessible All-Stars exhibition game on Friday, April 10, bringing together the community to celebrate adaptive sports and disability inclusion.

Hosted by the college’s Disability Resource Center and Inclusive Career Advancement Program grant teams in partnership with Adaptive Sports Northwest, this year’s event will feature a Goalball exhibition, a fast-paced Paralympic sport for athletes with visual impairments. Read more

Brain injuries can happen at any moment and, in an instant, change lives in ways that
can last a lifetime. They do not discriminate and can affect anyone – from a young
volleyball player in mid-game, to a long-haul driver in the middle of their work day, to a
teacher in their classroom, to a dad on a weekend bike ride with his kids. Read more
